Hey there!

I'm Mandy Black

I am so glad you’re here! I am a small town Minnesota girl who made her home in LA for over a decade, and now lives in the beautiful mountains of Northern Nevada. You can find me in my free time paddle boarding lake Tahoe or hiking a mountain trail with my husband and our 1  1/2 year old son. I am a low key matcha tea connoisseur, an avid yogi, and a lover of all things outdoors and adventure. But the two most important things to me in this world are my little family and my faith.

Professionally...

I am a holistic health coach and educator. My own personal health battles are what brought me to this career – from an over exercise eating disorder in high school, to debilitating anxiety and panic attacks in my early 30’s, to my own battle with Hashimotos Hypothyroidism, to watching my husband battle an autoimmune condition that stole several years of his life. It has been these experiences that have taught me how pivotal our health is in allowing us to make the most of this one life that we’ve been given. After years and literally hundreds of hours of self education on the subject of functional medicine and holistic health, I decided to pursue a certification in Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health Coaching. My passion is to educate and inspire others to lead a life of health and wholeness physically, mentally, and spiritually.

“Whole-istic Mandy” was born from… that foundational belief, the whole foods are our medicine and living life with a whole heart has the power to heal. On this website you will find healthy recipes, toxic free and clean living tips and product recommendations, spiritually/emotionally enriching words, and health eduction resources, including courses and coaching. Feel free to have a look around and I hope you find some inspiration in your own journey towards health and wholeness
