Greek Burgers & Fries
This meal has recently become a favorite in my family. The burger is juicy and flavorful. And the greek salad and fries are the perfect compliment to make a balanced meal - loaded with clean protein, healthy fats, and whole food carbohydrates
- 1 lb grass fed ground beef
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 stalk green onion
- 1/2-1 tbsp oregano
- 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- ground pepper
Greek Fries
- 4-5 yellow potatoes
- 3 tbsp olive or avocado oil
- 2-3 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- ground pepper
For the burgers - Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl. Then form into patties
Preheat a cast iron or stainless steel pan. Place burger patties in the pan and sear on both sides.
Cook until until the internal temperature is 145-150 degrees F
Greek Fries
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
Chop potatoes into wedges. Add to a bowl and top with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Place in a single layer on a stoneware baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes or until crispy on both sides. Flip halfway through baking.
Serve burgers on top of red leaf lettuce. Then top with red onion, tzatziki, and avocado. Serve alongside fries and a greek salad.
